Stephen King‘s ‘Tommyknockers’ to Get a Remake by James Wan and Roy Lee!
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that James Wan, the director and producer behind The Conjuring horror movies, and Roy Lee, one of the producers behind the adaptation of King’s IT, are tackling the adaptation of the writer’s 1987 popular science-fiction/horror novel Tommyknockers. What can we expect to see from this new remake?
ABC’s 1993 mini series, which starred Jimmy Smits and Marg Helgenberger, was a massive ratings hit. In 2013, NBC announced it would make another adaptation, but those plans never came to fruition.

Shane Black Teases “He’s Coming” in New Photo from ‘The Predator’ Set
Director Shane Black‘s upcoming reboot/sequel The Predator is currently going through some re-shoots in Vancouver. More recently, however, the film’s co-writer Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad) revealed that a brand new teaser is set to arrive soon.
Yesterday, Black shared a new photo from the set that teased the arrival of the creature in a jungle environment.
The Predator is coming for all of us on September 14th, 2018.

“CARGO” Trailer finds Martin Freeman surviving The Zombie Apocalypse in The Outback. Not the steakhouse, but the actual Australian Outback. That’s a different movie that we deserve to see.
Starring Martin Freeman (Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War) as Andy, Cargo looks seriously harrowing. The movie pits Andy in a 48-hour race against the clock before the virus that infected him halts his quest to find a home for (yes) his precious cargo: Rosie, his soon-to-be-fatherless infant child.
Written by Yolanda Ramke, and directed by Ramke and Ben Howling, Cargo is a feature-length expansion of the duo’s self-titled 2013 short film, which went on to become a viral hit. With its revamped cast and more deliberately paced storyline, the big-screen version of Cargo is headed to Australian theaters on May 18.

Sharknado Franchise Ending With Time-Traveling Finale
The upcoming Sharknado 6 will be the final installment in the series, which is set to premiere July 25th on SYFY.
In the previous chapter, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, the earth was completely decimated by the destruction of flying sharks, leaving hero Finn (Ian Ziering) as the last human on the planet. In hopes of reversing all of the horrible carnage caused by the flying fish, Finn must travel back in time to prevent the first sharknado from happening and altering the course of history.
Fox Searchlight Pictures has announced today that they’ve inked a deal that’ll see Guillermo Del Toro create a new genre label for the company.
The Fox division will create a new label that will “serve as a home for projects in the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, including those produced and curated by del Toro,” according to Tuesday’s announcement.
